The RAIN-SAVA has been specifically designed so that it can be fitted into both round (63mm and 68mm) and square (65mm) standard UK downpipes in just a few minutes, by means of a sliding collar adaptor. It can be connected via a rigid plastic pipe to an adjoining water butt or via a hose adaptor to other areas of the garden for an all-year-round watering supply. It has a built-in automatic overflow device to divert water back down the downpipe when the butt is full and its own leaf trap. The body can also be swivelled through 360 degrees for total convenience.

Everything is provided in the kit, including adaptors to accommodate the various downpipe sizes (whether round or square), a linking pipe to the water butt and a water barrel coupling. Full instructions with a template to take the guessing out of cutting are also provided.

The RAIN-SAVA is injection-moulded from strong thermoplastic in black, which can be colour sprayed, and is an all British product, developed and manufactured in Yorkshire to British Standard Kitemark BS4576.

The EXTRA-SAVA KIT is also available to link extra water butts together, as required, and comprises of two connectors with sealing washers, nuts, and a rigid push-fit pipe.

An ACCESSORY KIT is also available consisting of a winter shut off cap and two stepped hose pipe adaptors for 1/2 inch, 5/8 inch and 3/4 inch hoses. The hose adaptors are particulary useful when diverting rainfall further away from the downpipe.

The RAIN-SAVA has been favourably featured in various T.V. gardening programmes, and has won several awards for its contribution to the environment during periods of drought in recent years.

From our success with the U.K. version of the RAIN-SAVA, we have now introduced a European sized unit for 80mm to 82mm round downpipes.
